These are some of my favorite games I like to play whenever I have some spare time or want to pick at my brain.

Investopedia:

Investopedia’s simulator lets you trade stocks and build a virtual portfolio without risking real money. I’ve seen this being implemented into schools which allows kids to get a head start in understanding money and investing.

Bloxorz

A puzzle game where you control a rectangular block, flipping and rolling it across platforms without falling off, all to land it perfectly into the hole. If you enjoy strategy and experimenting with different move combinations until one finally clicks, this game is for you.

Tetris - Lumpty

My bread and butter. This is hands down the best online version of the game. There’s something strangely addictive about chasing a high score with nothing but falling blocks — so addictive that sometimes you even start dreaming in possible combinations and perfect tetrises.

PokéRogue

This one’s for all the Pokémon fans. Pokerouge is a fan-made roguelike where you battle through endless waves of trainers, level up your team, and try to see how far you can make it before getting knocked out.

Wikitrivia

A timeline game where you’re given random historical events or figures and have to place them in the correct chronological order. I love how it pulls from all across history — different times, regions, and cultures — so every round you're learning something new.

Countries of the World Quiz:

Did you know there are 196 countries and territories? ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY-SIX!!! And in case you were wondering, I can name 162 of them… 170 on a good day. How many can you name?

Seplling Bee

A NYT game where you try to make as many words as possible from seven given letters, with the ultimate goal of finding the “pangram” that uses them all. It’s for anyone who likes wordplay, puzzles, or just the satisfaction of getting the right answer.

Globale

Think Wordle, but for geography. Instead of guessing words, you guess countries on — with each wrong guess giving you color-coded hints about how close you are to the right answer.

Typing Speed Test

Easily the best typing game on the internet. It’s simple and sticks to random words instead of long stories (which I prefer). My average sits around 70 WPM, though back in the day, I could hit 100+ when my biggest worry was finding new ways to out-type my friends. I miss being unemployed.
